Chambre d’agriculture de Nouvelle-Cale’donie is a public agency led by elected growers from the 3 provinces in New Caledonia: North, South and Loyalty Island. It focusses specifically on
- capacity building trainings for farmers,
- and has helped developed a regional network of Chambers of Agriculture (Vanuatu, Wallis & Futuna, French Polynesia, and New Caledonia) to share on organic knowledge and practices, farmer organizations, market access, animal and crop health and sustainable protection practices.
- and manages the biosecurity requirements and export capacities under the New Caledonian government biosecurity authority in developing cleaner export pathways for agricultural commodities and proper field mechanisms, whilst also operating an animal and crops health department.
