The Gender and Organic Value Chain Analysis toolkit will assist organic agriculture stakeholders to understand how organic value chains work differently for women and men and how they can be improved by integrating gender considerations in value chain approaches. It is targeted to impact producers, processors and businesses in the organics sector in the Pacific, as well as partners, family and community members in the organics sector around the Pacific. The toolkit was launched in October 2022 in Suva City, Fiji by the Chargé d’affaires of the Australian High Commission in Fiji, Mr John Williams.
This toolkit has been published on behalf of the Pacific Organic and Ethical Trade Community POETCom) by the Pacific Community (SPC) with assistance from the Building Prosperity for Women Producers, Processors and Women Owned Businesses through Organic Value Chains (BPWP) Project. The BPWP Project is funded by the Australian Government.
